This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses websites, servers, or systems hosted or managed by Tecknicos, LLC, and Tecknicos’s hosted software (Wemote, ObjectX, PartnerHub). It’s part of the Master Services Agreement and the Software Subscription Terms.
You may not use our services to
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- host, send, or link to malware, phishing pages, or content that infringes someone’s intellectual property or privacy;
- send unsolicited bulk email, or harvest email addresses;
- host content that sexually exploits minors, promotes violence against people, or is unlawfully harassing or defamatory;
- access, scan, or test systems you aren’t authorized to (Wemote sessions and any security testing are limited to systems you own or are authorized to use);
- disrupt, overload, or attack our infrastructure or anyone else’s, including denial-of-service attacks;
- get around usage limits, authentication, or other security controls, or share accounts to avoid plan limits;
- mine cryptocurrency or run other workloads unrelated to the service you bought.
Enforcement
If we reasonably believe content or activity violates this AUP, we may remove the content or suspend the affected service, normally after notice and a chance to fix it. Where there’s an immediate risk to people, systems, or the law, we may act first and notify you as soon as we can. We cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
